I took a DNA test while writing Goodbye. I was wondering how I was going to end the book and how I was going to set it up for the next book. After I got my results I automatically had my answer. I don’t want to give anything away for those of you who have not read the first book, BUT... I will say that I was totally in shock of my results. In Guiding Light you get to follow me on my journey as I try and make sense of it all while also trying to find answers.

As I was writing Guiding Light, again, certain things were happening in my life, life changing things, and I took it as a sign that I had made the right decision to write this series. These life changing events only fueled my storytelling and it helped fill the pages of Guiding Light. Like the first book, Goodbye, Guiding Light is also based on true events. As I was nearing the end of Guiding Light I wasn’t sure how or what I would write the last book about, so I wrote what I wanted to happen. Maybe one day it will.

Last week, another life changing event happens and all of the sudden I have my material for book three. It’s crazy the timing of these chains of events. I believe deep down this was the moment it was all supposed to happen. I can't wait to release Guiding Light and start writing the final book in my Finding Solace Series.
